Dear Friends,
Can you believe the Spring Benefit was already a month ago? Our Sisters and I are still talking about how much we enjoyed seeing our long-time friends and meeting new ones—and dancing to the music of the Guss Hayes Band! Almost 400 supporters attended the Spring Benefit, surpassing all previous Sisters of Charity events. I guess we weren’t the only ones excited about getting together!
Thanks to the generosity of our many friends, we raised close to $225,000. The proceeds from the Spring Benefit allow us to continue our work to those most in need at a time when it is so critical.
We are grateful to all who helped make the Spring Benefit such a successful event, including Master of Ceremonies Pat Kiernan, the morning anchor at New York 1. His enthusiasm for the Sisters of Charity Mission was heartwarming. Our honorees, Jerry Costello and the family of the late Dr. Christopher Mills, were so inspiring, and their spirit was contagious.
We hope you will mark your calendars for May 18, 2023, when the Spring Benefit returns to The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers. Until we meet again, please enjoy this short video of our incredible evening.
