An invitation to participate in this Advent online reflective prayer.

6:30 – 7:30 pm (formal prayer until 7:10; sharing after prayer until 7:30 pm)
Information on this reflective meditative prayer.
- Prayer will focus on ritualizing “Honoring Our Pain” (the second movement of Joanna Macy’s work, The Spiral That Reconnects) in the context of Advent’s theme of awaiting Emmanuel (God-with-Us).
- In between readings we will have quiet time where 1) we will be together in silence and solidarity; and 2) allow ourselves time to name in our hearts the pain we experience … personally, in family, in our Common Home and in the community of life.
- Participants are invited to bring paper, a pen, pencil or crayons to prayer time, and if moved, to put on paper words, images, symbols, colors that arise from the readings and/or reflection.
- Prayer Time will be about 30-40 minutes.
- Participants are invited to stay after formal Prayer Time to share insights and conversation.
- Participants are welcome to come to just the Prayer.
