Elizabeth Seton Children’s School
The Elizabeth Seton Children’s School (formerly known as the John A. Coleman School) provides community and center-based special education and therapeutic programs (from birth to 21 years of age) with complex medical diagnoses at both its White Plains and Yonkers campuses. Our White Plains campus serves 145 children in 12 classrooms and our Yonkers campus serves the 137 residents of the Elizabeth Seton Children’s Center in 15 classrooms.
The Elizabeth Seton Children’s School has been recognized for the last seven years as a School of Excellence by the National Association of Special Education Teachers (NASET) and is regionally known for its comprehensive evaluation component, early intervention services and inclusive nursery school, Children’s Place.
The school serves over 900 children and their families each year, who come to us from over 50 school districts in Westchester and Putnam Counties, the Bronx and Manhattan.
