The Lighthouse at Chelsea Pier was once again the setting for the Spring Benefit of the Sisters of Charity of New York.
With over 300 friends and supporters filling the room, the Sisters honored Niall Murray, Founder and CEO of Rockabill Development, LLC and Christine Ackert and Eileen Alexanderson, Co-Directors of Investment Services for BMT Management and Financial Consultants. Our honorees share in the charism of the Sisters by helping them provide affordable housing and guidance in our financial investments.
Those in attendance were introduced to two young women who were aided by the services provided by LEFSA and Vincent’s Table. These ministries work to help those living on the margins, who are experiencing food insecurity, or who need someone to offer a kind word and a warm embrace.
But, of course, the highlight of the evening is always the Sisters and getting them up on the dance floor! This year did not disappoint.
