As the pandemic was spreading in New York in mid-April, Sr. Donna Dodge, President of the Congregation, had an idea: a prayer card with a thumbnail image of every Sister of Charity.
Together as One includes a photo of every living Sister of Charity of New York as of April 25. The card was mailed to sisters, associates and companions with a letter from Sr. Donna. “As you look at all of hope-filled faces,” she wrote, “picture the time in the not-too-distant future when we can be physically present to each other again.”
For those who would like to join us in prayer, we invite you to download Together as One. A PDF is available for download by clicking here. Your prayers for our sisters are gratefully appreciated. We invite you to send the names of your loved ones to be included on our prayer list by visiting the prayer request page.
For your reference, a corresponding name chart is provided. The sisters who have gone home to God since April 25, 2020, are indicated with “RIP.”

I don’t see Sr. Kevin Phillip( from st Vincent hospital/ school of nursing.
Is she still alive ?
Thank God, yes! Sister Kevin is alive and well. She is on the right edge, seven rows down.
I am so happy to see Sr Doris Heinlin! I miss you and think of you often. The hospice unit closed December 2018. We certainly have fond memories of our work there.
Sr Kevin and Sr Karen know and helped shape my work as a St Vincent’s nurse. I have had a wonderful career and thank them.
