This first week of Lent, let us look at the ways we have fallen short. What have we done or failed to do to become the person God has called us to be? Can we with humility, ask God to transform us? Do we trust that God is always there to assist us to begin again?

“Always, the hand of God is outstretched for those who wish to clasp it.” Saint Vincent De Paul

Let us pray: Good and gracious God, change whatever is in us or our lives that keeps us from You. Give us the strength to clasp Your hand and seek forgiveness. Amen
