NETWORK’s Nuns on the Bus have driven thousands of miles across the United States to prophetically speak for justice and advocate for adequate federal policies. During these journeys, the Nuns on the Bus encountered thousands of activists as we called for the creation of the common good. This year, Nuns on the Bus continues with a virtual “Who We Elect Matters” tour kicking off with a Rally for Spirit-Filled Voters on September 23rd at 10 am.
Sister Carol DeAngelo, SC, Director of the Office of Peace, Justice, and Integrity of Creation, is featured as part of the interactive 2020 Virtual Tour and will participate in a New York City Town Hall for Spirit-Filled Voters on September 24th at 7 pm. We hope to see a strong contingent of Sisters, Associates, Companions, and Friends.
Founded by Catholic Sisters in the spirit of Vatican II, NETWORK works to create a society that promotes justice and the dignity of all in the shared abundance of God’s creation. Inspired by the leadership of the women who followed, NETWORK faithfully embodies Gospel justice as we ignite hope in the world. The organization is rooted in Catholic Social Justice and is open to all who share their passion.
All are welcome to join the meetings, but participants must register for the events.
