Sister Maureen and I were classmates through grammar and high school at Blessed Sacrament. She was always a kind and generous person, always on top of her studies but never boastful and always willing to help others. I recall her loving parents and sleep-overs at her home where the family recited the Rosary after dinner. In her own, quiet way, Maureen had an positive impact on those around her. It was no surprise, coming from such a spiritual family, that Maureen chose to serve God through her work as a Sister of Charity.. We are saddened by the passing of another Class of “55 friend, but we know she is in a better place. We pray for her and all those who will surely miss her. Until we meet again, dear Maureen, rest in peace.
