Classes for the Sisters of Charity Fall 2018 English as Second Language Program will begin on September 24th. This popular program has helped thousands gain English-language skills, enabling them to participate in and contribute to their communities in countless ways. As we prepare for this semester, we are seeking new volunteers to help meet the growing needs of our friends and neighbors who want to learn English. We hope you will consider joining our team of devoted volunteers.
Information for the program is as follows:
SMALL GROUPS
Size of group and level of students’ English proficiency matched with volunteer preferences. No prior teaching experience or second language knowledge required. Training ongoing. 8-week commitment.

WHEN
Staff Orientation:Monday, September 17th 6:00–8:00 pm
Classes Meet: Mondays and Wednesdays 6:15–8:15 pm
Classes Start: September 24th
Classes End: One week before Thanksgiving
