The words appeared on a hand-painted sign outside the Delaney Hall Hospitality Tent in Newark, New Jersey, where volunteers continue to accompany families separated from loved ones held in detention. What began as a simple act of welcome has become a powerful witness to human dignity, compassion, and hope. The cover story follows Sisters of Charity of New York President Sr. Donna Dodge and Associates Miriam Ford and Jack Marth as they visited the tent carrying diapers and supplies for families navigating uncertainty and hardship.
