Not only our personal lives,
but the world we are helping to shape.
Where there is violence, may we choose peace.
Where there is indifference, may we choose compassion.
Where there is fear, may we choose love.
The Gospel reminds us that God is patient — like a gardener tending a struggling fig tree — always giving us another season to bear good fruit.
May this week of Lent deepen our prayer, strengthen our courage, and help us grow into people who bring healing to the world.
