Guests had a wonderful time at this year’s Spring Benefit, held on Friday, April 17 at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers. The evening brought together friends, supporters, and partners of the Sisters of Charity of New York for a joyful celebration filled with gratitude, community, and shared mission.
We were honored to recognize Eugene C. Ranis, Dominick F. Reda, MD, and Bernadette Kingham-Bez, whose generosity and commitment continue to make our work possible.
This year’s Spring Benefit was especially memorable for one beloved guest. Sr. Eileen McGrory lit up the dance floor as guests eagerly took turns celebrating her 90th birthday.
Adding to the joy, Sr. Eileen’s nephews and their spouses traveled from Cincinnati to surprise her—each hoping to share a dance with her during the celebration.
With no shortage of dance partners—and plenty of joy—her energy, spirit, and smile reminded everyone what it means to celebrate life in community.
