The See. Love. Vote. campaign is a nonpartisan civic engagement initiative inspired by Catholic Social Teaching and NETWORK Lobby’s national campaign. Rooted in the Catholic tradition of “See, Judge, Act,” the campaign invites Sisters, students, ministry partners, and community members to recognize the realities facing their communities, reflect on the common good, and put their faith into action through informed and meaningful civic participation.

Open to people of all backgrounds, See. Love. Vote. does not endorse political parties, legislation, or candidates. Instead, it encourages respectful dialogue, voter education, service, advocacy, and community engagement rooted in the values of human dignity, solidarity, and the common good.
Together, we are called to see the needs around us, love our neighbors through compassion and dialogue, and vote as one expression of faithful citizenship and care for our communities.

Why are you planning to “VOTE” in the midterms?

I see people in our communities who need support who are not receiving what they need and I see neighbors who cannot make ends meet due to the high cost of living. I love and dream that all of our neighbors will have a safe place to live, good food to eat, fresh water to drink and air to breathe and a access to education and jobs that pay a living wage. I will vote and hope everyone will turn out to vote because of the needs that are not being met and the desperation in our society. A change is absolutely crucial and that will only happen if people are engaged and vote.

Susan – this is such a powerful reminder that civic engagement is rooted in caring for our neighbors. When basic needs are going unmet, using our voices and participating in our democracy becomes even more important.
