In this season of alignment, we are called to see clearly —
to break through the noise, the spectacle, and the distractions that dull our conscience.
There are real wounds in our world:
- wars that bring suffering to the innocent
- systems that shield the powerful
- tragedies that demand truth and accountability
We pray for peace where there is violence,
for courage where there is avoidance,
for justice where there is concealment.
May this Lent be not a season of distraction,
but a season of clarity:
That we might walk in truth,
that we might stand with the vulnerable,
that we might resist systems that obscure the dignity of any human life.
