On February 8th, Sisters and Associates gathered for our Congregation Day with the theme “Hope in a Time of Uncertainty.” Sr. Donna Dodge, SC, President, offered words of inspiration, reminding us of our mission to respond to the signs of the times with courage, faith, and action.
Her reflection called us to remain informed, engaged, and hopeful bringing the realities of our world into contemplative prayer and discerning how we, as Sisters of Charity, are called to respond. She reminded us that hope is not mere optimism, but a way of living—a choice we make each day. As she so powerfully stated, “As Sisters of Charity, silence is not an option.”
We invite you to watch and listen to Sr. Donna’s full message in the video. May her words inspire us all to embrace hope and act with love and justice in our ever-changing world.
Sr. Donna’s welcoming words were inspiring and very much needed in todays’s environment. I pray we all may be moved to become witnesses to the will of our God in our Church.
sorely needed and perfectly put thank you.
Forthright and clear, just what we need in the current discourse of confusion. Thanks, Sr Donna.
Thank you. I so appreciate Sister Donna’s courage and leadership during such difficult times. The reminder about the breadth of the Sisters of Charity’s present day influence is very inspiring.
