The road to the Cross is no longer distant.
It is here.
The Gospel does not let us look away.
It does not let us stay comfortable.
It asks us to stand closer —
to suffering,
to injustice,
to the places where truth is still being crucified.
This Lent, we are not called to observe from a distance.
We are called to draw near.
To the poor.
To the excluded.
To the silenced.
Because if Christ is still being crucified in our world,
then discipleship means standing beside Him.
Even when it costs us something.
