Dear Friends,Blessed Mother and the Child Jesus

I hope you are uplifted in this season of anticipation, as we look forward to celebrating the arrival of our Lord and Savior.

After enduring much uncertainty this year, we can all relate to the anxiety Mary and Joseph must have felt on that holy night, not knowing where they would find shelter. It was in the humblest of settings—a stable and manger—that the baby Jesus came into the world. In the midst of great hardship, an even greater joy was born — a joy “for all the people.”

Through your kind support, you are helping us share the joy of Christmas today with those in need of shelter, food, job skills, English instruction, holiday cheer for their little ones, and more. Amid the most challenging circumstances, Jesus’ inclusive love makes all the difference in our ministries of Charity.

Please be assured that our sisters are giving thanks for your friendship this Christmas, and we will be praying for your intentions. May you and your loved ones have a most blessed holiday.

Wishing you peace, good health and a heart filled with joy this Christmas and throughout the New Year.

Blessings,
Sister Donna Dodge, SC
President

For over 200 years, the Sisters of Charity of New York have put their faith into action, educating, caring for and advocating on behalf of countless children and adults in the spiritual tradition of St. Vincent de Paul and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. Today the sisters continue sharing God’s love through ministries for those who are poor, homeless, immigrant, survivors of human trafficking, and others in need of the compassion of Christ.

Your kindness will be the answer to someone’s prayers this Christmas.
